We are a high performance race car shop located in El Paso, Texas, specializing is in high performance engine tuning. We work on the best high performance race cars, whether they are imports or domestics. We have the latest technology and information, and a staff that does special translation and research work from Japanese sources still unavailable in the US. We can install and customize anything for your vehicle, whether the product is overseas or domestic. Our staff has over 100 years of experience in racing, and has won numerous awards over the years.
Ray Luna
Ray is a graduate from the prestigious Universal Technical Institute. He is also a graduate of Mercedes ELITE technician program and its G Technician program. A member of both the NHRA and the IDRC, Ray is an accomplished racer in his native southern New Mexico, and is a graduate of the Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School. In 2003, he decided to set up Luna Performance to help his clients to achieve racing excellence. In 2004, Ray Luna put his tuning and engine knowledge to the test at the IRDC import drag racing circuit. He was able to tune a client's car to win the IRDC finals, which was to be the first of many racing titles for Luna Performance.
Ray Luna Sr.
Ray Senior was a successful race car driver in the HotRod national scene in the 50s and 60s. He entered into military service after retiring from racing in the late 60s. After his retirement from the military, Ray, a legend in the southwest racing scene, came out of his racing retirement to act as an advisor to Luna Performance.
